Stage lighting is essential in bars, multi-functional theater conference hall stages, and outdoor performance activities. For stage lighting manufacturers, various stage lighting applications have their own characteristics.
Stage lighting is mainly composed of 4 major parts
1. Lighting console
2. Various types of lights
3. Flight box (used to load lights for easy transportation)
4. Lighting brackets, wires and cables
There are many types of stage lighting and they are very complex, and many stage lighting are customized for various occasions and environments. We cannot go into details one by one, but today we will talk about the most representative lighting.
Par lanterns There are two commonly used par lanterns, ordinary par lanterns and led par lanterns. Par lights are generally installed on special light stands or lighting stands. Their main function is to ensure the brightness of the stage and certain lighting effects. Ordinary par lights have been gradually replaced by LED par lights due to their high power and impure colors.
The biggest advantages of LED par lights compared to par lights are:
1. Various colors and good special effects
2. Under high power, it can meet the power requirements of various venues.
3. The softness of light.
Of course, computer moving head lights are also commonly used lights in various parties and annual meetings. Computer moving head lights, as the name suggests, are special lighting effects where the light keeps shaking its head and back. The main feature of computer moving head lights is dynamic lighting effects, which make the stage and programs more lively and energetic.
Follow-up lights are also essential lights for weddings, conferences, and company annual meetings. The effect produced by the beam light is a bright beam of light, which is very three-dimensional. It is widely used in concerts and dance performances.
Due to the different structures and arrangements of light sources and optical mirrors, the light forms they present are different. The shape of light refers to the shape of the beam that appears in the air after the light is emitted and the shape of the spot that the light projects on the ground or object. There are four types of light forms projected by different lamps: imaging light, focused light, soft light, and astigmatism.
imaging light
The light beam presented in the air is extremely clear, the edge of the light spot is hard and solid, and the light can be imaged. Adding corresponding devices to the lamp can project fixed images or dynamic images. This type of lights includes follow-up lights, pattern computer lights, stage imaging lights, digital projection lights, slideshows, etc.
Follow-up lights generally refer to specific light sources that highlight the main characters on the stage and follow the movement of the characters. In meetings, the light source lighting is generally used when guests enter the room and walk from their seats to the podium.
spotlight
The edges of the focused beam and spot are softer than the imaging light, but the sense of the beam and spot is still clearly discernible. This type of lights includes stage spotlights, PAR lights, etc. Generally used for stage color, stage backlight, side light, ground light, the color can be changed. It is characterized by low power consumption and is a substitute for ordinary PAR lamps!
soft light
There is a very soft transition between the soft light beam and the bright and dark areas at the edge of the spot. Short and few transitions are concentrated soft, while long and many transitions are scattered soft. Due to the soft edges of the light, the light beam and light spot are not visually obtrusive or eye-catching. This type of soft light is called spotlight in TV stations and film and television shooting. After adding soft light paper to the light outlet of the lamp to form diffuse light, it is called soft light. This type of lights includes stage soft lights, movie spotlights, etc.
astigmatism
The structure of astigmatism is the simplest. The light emitted is scattered, but it is still projected in a general direction, and it is not disordered scattering. This type of lights includes square astigmatism lights, strip astigmatism lights, canopy lights, conference lights, wall washers, etc.
Sky row lights are used to illuminate the canopy from top to bottom, requiring bright and balanced light with a large illumination area; floor row lights are used to be placed on the stage surface, with the lower part of the canopy facing upwards to connect with the light illuminated by the sky row lights. Even up and down.
